The Kill

The night was hot, the street was crowded, there was joy in the air.
All these Sky observed from the top of the plaza where she sat quietly as her legs dangled off the ledge. Her gun was perched carefully by her side, her hand never letting it go.
Her face was of contemplation, then annoyance when she heard the familiar thuds of Wellington boots. She turned her gaze away from the busy cityscape to the cold stare of gray eyes. The man these eyes belonged to nodded in greeting and then realized the blood splattered across his face betrayed his friendly approach.

Sky frowned in disgust before she took her gun and pulled herself away from the ledge. 'Let's go."

The game is beginning to get on her nerves. Hunting rabbits in the wild is troublesome.
